Directing our work and overseeing progress is the SAIC Board, with a strong industry presence.

There are representatives from leading salmon producers Marine Harvest Scotland and Scottish Sea Farms, feed giant BioMar and the Scottish Salmon Producers’ Organisation, as well as the Scottish Shellfish Marketing Group, ensuring that both dominant areas of the sector have a voice.

There are also representatives from academia, including the University of Stirling – our host institution – and the University of Edinburgh, along with observers from the Scottish Funding Council, Highlands and Islands Enterprise, and Scottish Enterprise.

You can find out more about each Board member and their experience in the short biographies below.
